The pattern consists of rhombs formed through the braiding technique used, executed in part in various shades and in part with varied tension .
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE
Camelid fibre in red and dark purple. Technique: braided partly in extended plain weave and partly at a closer sett as for repp in the dark purple yarn Yellow feathers attached to a cotton thread and wrapped round the band at one end and at another point ca 30 cm along the band
. At one end, the band finishes in 7-8 cm long braided tassels, some of which are worn.
