MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUE
Ground weave: warp and weft in a reddish-brown cotton. Embroidery: camelid fibre in red, yellowish brown, dark purple, yellow, brown, yellowish pink and black. Technique: embroidery executed in a combination of linear and block colour style. Embroidered on plain weave cut from the ground weave cloth. The border probably embellished a turban, partly because of its size, partly because the corners are mitred.
